However, when jogging or running, the nipples move in a Figure-8 pattern rather than the simple movement shown. Also, breasts swing from side to side, often in opposite directions - bumping together and spreading apart. And, they move in and out from the chest wall. Rippling and higher frequency jiggling goes on simultaneously with the other motions.
Don't ignore the fact that the Bounce-O-Meter's purpose is to sell ShockAbsorber sports bras.
The complaint of restriction of breathing by "Wife At Large" is quite real. For the under-breast chest band to be snug enough to support the breasts from below (the straps should only hold the tops of the cups in) it is going to restrict breathing.
What we are really dealing with is that the female body is not designed for running! Sure, we can wear diving suits, space suits, fire suits, etc. to go into places that we are not designed for, but there are always tradeoffs. The typical female pelvis spaces the hips too far apart for easy running, tending to "bow" the knees, so we wear running shoes designed to compensate.
Research in Japan indicates that bras, rather than preventing sagging, increase it. Going without a bra is best for most women (who do not have a real breast obesity problem) during normal activity, using a sports bra only during athletic activity. Wearing a bra that provides the least support and restriction of movement that is comfortable and suited for the activity is being recommended more than ever before.
Large, heavy breasts cannot be completely stabilized. If the bra has rigid cups, mounted on a snug corset that keeps the exterior of the breasts from moving at all, the internal parts of the breast, milk glands, tubes and blood vessels, will "slosh" around in the gelatin-like fat that makes up most of the breast volume. This may cause irritation and discomfort even though the outside of the breast is prevented from moving on the woman's chest.
Rigid or tight bra cups also cause nipple swelling to go inwards, crumpling and compressing the internal parts. Since nipples swell for many reasons, and do so "of their own mind," room should be allowed for them to swell outwards naturally. I have not seen a real support bra that provides this feature, only "sexy" open nipple bras not intended for normal wear, usually sold by the same stores that sell open crotch panties.

The Bounce-O-Meter is a good attempt to simulate the movement of breasts on the female chest.
