The scientific documents in those libraries have not even been fully catalogued, let alone made available for scientists or interested community members to look up, read, peruse, or otherwise inform themselves about the various threats to the environment.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These documents are being boxed up and shipped to an undisclosed location pending an unfunded, unplanned future time when they can be catalogued and digitized.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I could go on with the general idiocy of this particular budget cut, but instead I&#039;ll just close by speculating that the $2+ million dollars that used to fund these libraries are undoubtedly making way for either the &quot;War on Terror&quot; or our ill-advised tax cuts, so this knife cuts both ways!</description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In a related news item, the EPA has cut off all funding to its libraries, and they are currently in the process of being shut down.
